Murder On The Silver Comet Trail by Charlotte Fairchild was written 2 years before Jenny Ewing was murdered, one mile from where I imagined the murder. In January 2008, my Mom called me because a woman with long blond hair was missing, who had a black dog. I have long blond hair and a black dog, and I hike. I could have been Meredith Hope Emerson. So I published the book and started a 501(c)3 to encourage people to travel together, and to support Right To Hike and http://www.justyellfire.com Please ask your library to order Murder On The Silver Comet Trail. There are 200 different ways to die in the book written in 2004, and there is no glory given to the murderer.

It's a sad world where a peaceful soul can't take a solitary walk.

Rest in peace, Jenny,

Jenny is only one of more than 800,000 people who are kidnapped in the USA every year. The US Justice Department says 75% are dead in the first 3 hours. She is one of 800,000 a year who are kidnapped, and not many survive.

I called up the US Justice Department and spoke with a statistician, and 800,000 people do not disappear every year. The number is much lower, when I talked to the government employee.

Jenny Ewing was on a bicycle. More crime happens in parking lots than in the wilderness. What are arguments against the buddy system?
